Euterpe is a free software that is designed to measure environmental noise using a computer. It has all the features of a traditional sound level meter, such as the ability to store measurements, register sound fragments that exceed a certain threshold, set up a time-dependent task schedule, and connect to a weather station, GSM for sending messages, and a radio-controlled clock.
